After playing Shakespeare’s heroines for the BBC – Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Imogen in Cymbeline – Helen played a supporting role in the 1982 adaptation of Stephen Poliakoff’s “Soft Targets”, starring Ian Holm.
