Helen Mirren continues her busy schedule with additional appearances at the New York Theatre Workshop’s 2015 Spring Gala and the unveiling of her caricature for Sarids. Helen continues to hit the New York scene these past days with appearances at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit as well as the Drama Desk Awards Nominees reception. This week, Helen has attended both the Stuttering Association for the Young Gala (April 27) and the Tony Awards Nominees Reception (April 29). Pictures from both events have been added to the photo gallery.

Congratulations to Helen Mirren for receiving a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for “The Audience”. She shares the category with Geneva Carr (Hand to God), Elisabeth Moss (The Heidi Chronicles), Carey Mulligan (Skylight) and Ruth Wilson (Constellations). “The Audience” has received a total of three nominations, including Richard McCabe for Best Actor in a Play and Bob Crowley for Best Costume Design of a Play. This is Helen’s third Tony Award nomination – for her third Broadway play. She has received previous nominations for “A Month in the Country” in 1995 and for “Dance of Death” in 2002. So maybe third’s the lucky charm. The Tony Awards are handed out during a live ceremony on June 7, 2015.

With only two “Prime Suspect”s to go, today’s spotlight is the second last installment of the series, 2003’s “The Last Witness” – another masterful part of the show. Helen Miren has made quite a few appearances this last week, attending the Broadway opening nights for “An American in Paris” and “Finding Neverland”, the Women in the World Summit in New York as well as Seth Meyers’ Late Night show and BBC Breakfast to promote “Woman in Gold”. After promotion for the theatrical release of “Woman in Gold” has wrapped, let’s continue with “Prime Suspect” an the spotlight for the show’s fifth series, “Errors of Judgement”, which is another highlight. On March 30, Helen has attended the New York premiere for “Woman in Gold”, followed by an after-party that reunited the cast and crew with Gustav Klimt’s painting. Over 500 pictures from the premiere have been added to the photo gallery. Also, additional production stills, on-set pictures and international posters have been added as well.

Helen has had a busy schedule earlier this week when the public promotion for “Woman in Gold” was packed into two days. She has attended The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Live with Michael & Kelly and The Today Show (twice). Additionally, interview clips from Entertainment Tonight and BBC Talking Movies have been added to the video archive alongside a promotional interview and new clip from the film. Enjoy!

Helen’s new film “Woman in Gold” releases in US theaters on April 03, so it’s about time to add production stills and videos from the current promotion for the film. Promotionals, on-set pictures and screencaptures from the making of and trailer have been added to the photo gallery. Various trailer, tv spots and clips have been added to the video archive. Also added is an excerpt of Helen’s most recent appearance on The Charlie Rose Show to promote the Broadway opening of “The Audience”. For “Woman in Gold”, Helen will be attending The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on March 30 and Live with Kelly & Michael on March 31. The New York premiere will be held on March 30 as well, so check back next week for more pictures.
