On Sunday, David Tennant was back hosting the EE BAFTA Film Awards for the second year in a row. The ceremony opened with a pre-recorded sketch that featured cameos from Helen Mirren, Jim Broadbent and Brian Cox as BAFTA Gods to pep him up for his hosting duties. It ended with Tennant singing The Proclaimers classic “(I’m Gonna Be) 500 Miles”, adjusting the chorus to “one BAFTAs more” and getting the likes of James McAvoy, Anna Kendrick and (upcoming “Thursday Murder Club” co-star) Celia Imrie involved in the chorus.
