The cast of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” has moved to Los Angeles for the continued promotional tour, attending the very wet red carpet at yesterday’s premiere for the film. There’s little time to breath after last week’s visits to the Berlin Film Festival and the United Kingdom (and the season finale of “1923”). On Monday, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” kicked off its international promotion tour with a photocall in Beverly Hills, during which many press junket interviews were conducted for next week’s releases. Winners will be revealed via a special announcement on Thursday, March 16.

Lots of updates today from a truly comprehensive week for Helen Mirren, which started on Sunday with an appearance at the BAFTA Awards. Yesterday, Helen Mirren and director Guy Nattiv attended the 73th Berlin Film Festival for the world-premiere of “Golda”. The first reviews have been very positive. The BAFTAs were handed out yesterday, and Helen Mirren was among the attendees for a special tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. Prince William, BAFTA’s president, was in the audience with wife Kate Middleton. Mirren said: “Cinema at its best does what Her Majesty did effortlessly – bring us together and unite us through a story. Your Majesty, you were our nation’s leading star. “On behalf of BAFTA, thank you for all that you have done for our film and television industry.” “BAFTA’s relationship with Her Majesty was longstanding and BAFTA would not be what it is today without her loyal support,” she added.
