Paramount+ has booked a springtime trip to MobLand. The Guy Ritchie crime drama, headlined by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, will premiere Sunday, March 30. The series’ trailer was released yesterday. “Power is up for grabs as the Harrigans and Stevensons, two warring London crime families, clash in a kill-or-be-killed battle that threatens to topple empires and ruin lives,” according to the official logline. “Caught in the crossfire is Harry Da Souza (Hardy), the street-smart ‘fixer’ as dangerous as he is handsome, who knows too well where loyalties lie when opposing forces collide. As kingdom goes up against kingdom, lines will be crossed – and the only saving grace is a bet-your-life guarantee: family above everything.” Brosnan, meanwhile, plays Conrad Harrigan, the head of the Harrigan family for whom Harry works, while Mirren co-stars as Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the Harrigan family matriarch. Rounding out the ensemble are Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan and Emily Barber.

A sneak peek at the upcoming show MobLand is here! PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the first look photos from Guy Ritchie’s new Paramount+ crime-drama series, which is set to premiere on Sunday, March 30. Starring Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, who plays “the head of an organized crime family,” MobLand will follow his character Conrad and the fight “for power within a global crime syndicate.” Paddy Considine (House Of The Dragon) will play Brosnan’s son and Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) takes on the role of Hardy’s wife. Other cast members include Lara Pulver (Da Vinci’s Demons); Anson Boon (Pistol); Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas); Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy); Geoff Bell (Top Boy); Daniel Betts (Fate: The Winx Saga); Lisa Dwan (Blackshore); and Emily Barber (Industry). Hardy doubles up as actor and executive producer, along with Ritchie, Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari. It will be Hardy’s second time collaborating with Richie, following RocknRolla in 2008. Primarily working in film, this is Ritchie’s third scripted television show, coming after The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and The Gentleman, which was recently renewed for a second season on Netflix. MobLand marks Mirren’s second Paramount+ series. She currently appears in the Yellowstone prequel 1923 alongside Harrison Ford. MobLand premieres on Sunday, March 30 on Paramount+.

Here are some exciting news courtesy The Hollywood Reporter: The star-studded organized crime series from filmmaker Guy Ritchie has landed on a title, as well as a premiere date on Paramount+. The drama is called MobLand, and it will debut March 30 on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, U.K. and Australia, with other markets to follow later in the year. It’s a fairly quick turnaround for the show, which was announced (and in production) in late November. MobLand centers on an Irish crime family based in London, with Brosnan playing the head of the family, Conrad Harrigan. Mirren – who also stars in Paramount+’s Yellowstone prequel 1923 – plays family matriarch Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife. Hardy plays Harry Da Souza, the Harrigans’ fixer. The cast also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan and Emily Barber. The show began its life as a spinoff of Showtime’s Ray Donovan, titled The Donovans. As it developed, however, MobLand dropped the connection to the former series and became its own thing – though it obviously shares a premise of following a crime family and its fixer. MobLand is one of several streaming projects Ritchie is attached to, along with Netflix’s The Gentlemen – which has been renewed for a second season – and the upcoming Young Sherlock at Prime Video. MobLand comes from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
According to Variety, Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan have officially signed on to star in the Paramount+ series from Guy Ritchie and Ronan Bennett. It was previously reported that the trio were in final negotiations to join the show. The project had initially been developed with the title “The Donovans,” with plans to function as an across-the-pond spin-off of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan,” which was led by Liev Schreiber for seven seasons and a film adaptation. However, it has been reworked into a standalone series with no connections to that franchise. It was also previously reported that it was filming under the working title “The Associate,” but that is no longer the case. Production is now underway in London, with the untitled show slated to debut in 2025 on Paramount+ with Showtime. The official series description states that the show is “centered around two warring families based in London whose enterprises stretch all corners of the globe and the fiercely loyal ‘fixer’ charged with protecting one of them at all costs.” Hardy will play Harry Da Souza, described as “a professional conciliator on behalf of the Harrigan family.” Brosnan will play Conrad Harrigan, “the head of a very successful Irish crime family based out of London for whom Harry works.” Mirren will play Maeve Harrigan, Conrad’s wife and the Harrigan family matriarch. “Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren are masters at their craft and we are honored to have them lead the cast for Guy Richie’s new global, original series,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios. “Guy, Jez Butterworth and Ronan Bennett’s creative prowess, coupled with these gifted actors, is the perfect recipe for what we believe will be the next brand defining series for Showtime on Paramount+”
Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan are in final negotiations to star in the Paramount+ series Guy Ritchie‘s The Associate (working title), Deadline has learned. Paramount+ declined to comment for this story. With the most powerful clients in Europe, Guy Ritchie’s The Associate will see family fortunes and reputations at risk, odd alliances unfold, and betrayal around every corner; and while the family might be London’s most elite fixers today, the nature of their business means there is no guarantee what’s in store tomorrow. The one-hour drama from Showtime/MTV Studios and 101 Studios follows two generations of gangsters, the businesses they run, the complex relationships they weave, and the man they call upon to fix their problems. Hardy is up for the role of Harry, the fixer, a man who is as dangerous as he is handsome. Mirren and Brosnan would star as the crime family’s matriarch and patriarch, respectively, we hear. Hardy is set to reunite with his RocknRolla director Ritchie in this new project. Guy Ritchie’s The Associate is Mirren’s follow-up to Taylor Sheridan’s 1923, which recently concluded shooting its second and final season; both shows hail from 101 Studios and MTV Studios. Mirren and Brosnan co-starred in Netflix’s The Thursday Murder Club which wrapped shooting early last month. Ritchie, who will direct Guy Ritchie’s The Associate, executive produces with series writer Ronan Bennett, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin and Ivan Atkinson.
