Yesterday, Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, Diane Lane and Michael Stuhlbarg have attended the New York premiere for “Trumbo” at the MoMa. Additionally, on November 1, Helen has attended the Shakespeare Theatre Gala honoring director Julie Taymor. As quoted by The Washington Post, “Julie is a great director and a great friend. That’s why I wanted to be here,” Mirren said in a brief pre-dinner interview. “She was the first woman to direct me, and that meant very much to me.” Really? The first woman? “Well,” Mirren said, “the first woman to direct me in anything of that scope. And as a woman director, she has faced great adversity.” Pictures from both events have been added to the photo gallery.
The promotion tour for “Woman in Gold” continues with a trip to Tokyo, Japan. On October 22, Helen has attended the festival’s opening ceremony, as well as today’s screening of the film. Pictures from both events have been added to the photo gallery.
Here we go. Over 5.000 pictures from 2007’s public appearances have been added to the photo gallery. In this year, Helen received an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a BAFTA, a Primetime Emmy and a dozen more awards for her work on “The Queen”, “Elizabeth I.” and “Prime Suspect”. A crowning achievement for an already astonishing career. To launch all last added pictures, click any of the previews below.
Lots of additional pictures from the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as two recent events, have been added to the photo gallery. In New York, Helen was a guest at Badgley & Mischka’s front row for Spring 2016. And the SAG Foundation has helt a conversation with Dame Helen Mirren. Pictures from all events can be found in the photo gallery.
