Save the best for last, this March we spotlight the “Prime Suspect” series, one of the greatest achievements in Helen’s career. From 1991 to 2006, she portrayed Det. Supt. Jane Tennison in seven programmes that were as gritty, suspenseful and controversial as a television crime show can get. It gave Helen the role of a lifetime that became an iconic part of British television. Today we start with the first Prime Suspect, which I consider still the very best. To learn more about the show, visit the career page. Stills, promotionals and screencaptures have been added to the photo gallery. Eight clips have been added to the video archive.
